🙏🏽 Our Prayer & Praise Board 🙏🏽

Inspired by a beautiful idea we saw at Artistic General Dentistry Fayetteville, we have started our very own Prayer & Praise Board! ❤️

We invite all of our families and staff to participate. Simply:

🙏🏽 Write down a prayer request for yourself or your family and place it on the board.
💛 Take a prayer request from the board and pray over that person or situation.
🙏🏽 When you're finished, place the request back so someone else can pray too.

Our hope is to create a continuous circle of prayer throughout our school community—lifting one another up, celebrating praises, and trusting God together.

“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.” — Romans 12:12 ✝️

No names are required. God knows exactly who and what we are praying for. ❤️🙏🏽

Last week at KKCS was filled with little moments that meant so much. 💛 From table bowling 🎳 to watching the seeds we planted begin to grow 🌱, we were reminded that God is present in every single moment.

We planted those tiny seeds just a couple of weeks ago, and already we’re watching them transform. What a beautiful reminder of what God can do with faith as small as a mustard seed. 🙏🏽 And just as we are watching those little seeds grow, we are blessed to watch what God is doing in the lives of our children too. Every lesson learned, every milestone reached, every prayer prayed, and every little life entrusted to us matters.

After 16 years, we’ve learned that seasons change, circumstances change, people change, and challenges come and go. We’ve watched buildings change ownership, walked through difficult seasons, celebrated beautiful ones, and experienced moments when we simply didn’t know what was next. Yet somehow, God has always made a way.

KKCS is bigger than classrooms, diapers, schedules, staff, concerns, or challenges. This is a ministry. Sometimes even we have to step back and remember that we are still here because of His grace and His mercy.

Through it all, one thing has remained the same: God has been faithful. Every. Single. Time. 🙌🏽

Plant the seed. Give it to God. Be grateful for every moment. Then watch Him grow it. 🌱✝️💛

🌱 Letter & Science Activity: P is for Plant!

Today P was for PLANT! Our little scientists planted chia seeds that we will continue watching as they sprout and grow.

We discussed the plant life cycle and some of the things plants need to grow, including water, light, and care. Over the coming days, we'll observe and talk about the changes we see! 🌱☀️💧

🧪 STEM Exploration: Foaming Chemical Reaction

Our little scientists explored an exciting chemical reaction using vinegar, baking soda, dish soap, Mentos, and soda! As the ingredients combined, the children eagerly observed the bubbling, fizzing, and overflowing foam while making predictions about what would happen next. This hands-on experiment introduced basic chemistry concepts such as reactions, gases, and observation skills in a fun and memorable way.

Learning through exploration makes science exciting for every child! 🌋✨

🌧️☁️ Arts & Craft: Rain Clouds ☁️🌧️

Today our little scientists explored the wonders of the water cycle by creating rain clouds using shaving cream, blue food coloring, and water! As the "rain" fell through the cloud, the children observed how clouds hold water until they become heavy enough for rain to fall. It was a fun, hands-on science experience that sparked curiosity and excitement!

Our little learners were so excited to welcome our firefighter friends! We are grateful for the opportunity to learn about fire safety, community helpers, and the important work firefighters do every day. Thank you to our local firefighters for spending time with us! 🚒❤️😊

We talked about firefighters and the important job they do to help keep our families and community safe. We discussed how firefighters are brave, helpful, and always ready to serve others in an emergency.

🧯 The children learned simple fire safety tips, including:
• Never play with matches or lighters. 🔥🚫
• Listen to trusted adults during an emergency. 👂
• Know that firefighters are helpers and are there to keep us safe. 🚒

Today we celebrate all the amazing dads, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures who lead with strength, love, and kindness.

Thank you for every early morning, every encouraging word, every sacrifice, and every hug that helps shape the lives of our children. Your love and guidance make a lasting difference.
