and are leaving as published authors, young scientists, and future leaders. 💙💛

Our students proudly published their very own book:

🐦 STEM Bird Investigation: Exploring Birds Around Our School 🐦

Through hands-on STEM investigations, outdoor observations, student discussions, YouTube research, drawing, and writing activities, students explored the birds around our school and turned their discoveries into authentic published work. 📖🔍✨

Using sentence starters, guided instruction, and their own creative ideas, students strengthened early literacy, research, creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills through a meaningful real-world learning experience.

We are so proud of our Kindergarten authors for their hard work, curiosity, and growth throughout this special project. Thank you to our families for your continued support and encouragement every step of the way. 🍎✨

We are so proud to share that BK has been selected as the 2025–2026 Elementary Rookie Data Manager of the Year for Cumberland County Schools! 🏆 She was recognized on Tuesday, May 5th at her monthly Data Manager Meeting and will be honored again at the June 2026 CCS Board Meeting (families are welcome to attend and celebrate her!).
From DAY ONE, BK has gone above and beyond to keep our school running smoothly. Whether it’s tracking down answers, supporting staff, or making sure report cards and progress reports are ready in record time, she does it all with dedication, positivity, and a smile. Her hard work behind the scenes makes a BIG difference for our students and staff every single day.

Yesterday was a winning night at our Countdown to Kindergarten event!

We loved welcoming our future students and their families to campus for an evening full of fun, learning, and school spirit! Our little all-stars had the chance to tour the school, meet teachers and staff, and get excited about starting kindergarten. Meanwhile, parents learned helpful enrollment information and tips to make the transition to school smooth and successful.

Everyone came ready to play, learn, and score big for kindergarten readiness! ⚽🏀📖

We can’t wait to welcome these future champions to our Bear family next year! ❤️💙

Field Day Reminders! - Field Day is coming on Thursday, April 30th!
K-2 9:00-11:30 and 3-5 12:30-3:00.
📣Please make sure your child brings:
• A towel
• A change of clothes

🍧 There will also be an Italian ice truck for students to purchase from.

In case of rain on Thurs., Field Day will be postponed to Monday, May 4th.
