Sensei Francisco Edgar Miró funeral in Panama

In our modern karate world, many students are involved in "free kumite", which is all about scoring points, not delivering effective blows to vulnerable areas of the body.
As years go by, I see less and less quality training by many students in the martial arts community.
In some areas karate competition has become similar to the WWE wrestling. Flashy, Fancy, and not anything like I was taught over 50+ years ago.
If we are to keep Karate as it was intended to be, a martial art - we must look at our training as our old Masters did many years ago.
