It is with profound sadness that the Cumberland County Association of Educators (CCAE) learns of the passing of Cumberland County Schools Board of Education Chairwoman Judy Musgrave. Chairwoman Musgrave dedicated her life to serving the students, educators, and families of Cumberland County through her years as an educator, leader, and elected member of the CCS Board of Education. Her unwavering commitment to public education and her passion for ensuring opportunities for all students left a lasting impact on our schools and community.

On behalf of the CCAE Executive Board and our membership, we extend our deepest condolences to Chairwoman Musgrave’s family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives were touched by her leadership and service. We are grateful for her many years of advocacy on behalf of public education and for the positive difference she made in the lives of countless students and educators throughout Cumberland County.

As we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate a life devoted to education, service, and the betterment of our community. Chairwoman Musgrave’s legacy will continue to inspire those who work each day to support and uplift the students of Cumberland County.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones and the entire Cumberland County Schools community during this difficult time.
