MOVIE NIGHT AT LOA!

LOA will be watching "12 ANGRY MEN" (the original). We will be discussing how we decide what is TRUE? What is "proof"? What is evidence? What is a reasonable doubt and what is an unreasonable doubt? How do our presuppositions effect how we examine evidence?

LOA Students/young adults bring something to sit on the floor (if you'd like) snacks, etc. See ya at 7!

Brett Kunkle is a speaker, an author, and a minister to youth, college students, and adults. He has worked with ACSI doing worldview training with Christian High School staff. He is speaking to our secondary students at VCA all day today. But tonight ... he will be training you!

At 6:00 pm tonight, he will talk with parents, church members, VCA Faculty and Administration, our church staff, and church staff from around the area. You do not want to miss this!

I cannot believe that the little girl I strapped into a baby carrier not too long ago is now 20.

I could not have imagined how impressive she has become; what our Father has done in her and through her. I can only dream what He has yet to do.

Kaitlyn ( ) ... I am proud of you beyond words. I love you more there are words. Happy Birthday!

These are pictures from our recent trip to Honduras with LOA including Kaitlyn as usual and this time with Cassy. She has watched the two of us head off to Honduras and Africa for years but always stayed behind making sure we could go.

I say that to say this. Cassy has always sacrificed for me and for Kaitlyn.

And she has loved me sacrificially and graciously. She has loved me when I have been the most unlovable.

She has done so for 30 years as of yesterday. For all 30 - and for the 4 years we dated - she has been a living, physical example of the Grace of my Father in my life.

I have not the words to adequately express my great love for her and for our Savior who strengthened her to love me through my worst.

I love you Cassandra.

Back in July, LOA led 73 people to Christ in La Esperanza and The Valley of Anglels in Honduras. IGNITE MISSIONS tasked a team to write the name of every student who made a decision in individual Bibles that were then delivered to them in La Esperanza.
