Lent is a sacred season in Christianity observed by many Christians around the world. It commemorates the 40 days Jesus Christ spent fasting and praying in the wilderness. Lent is a time of reflection, repentance, and spiritual growth, often marked by fasting, prayer, and acts of charity as believers prepare for Easter and the celebration of Christ’s resurrection. Ramadan is a sacred month in Islam observed by Muslims around the world. It commemorates the time when the Quran was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset as an act of worship, self-discipline, and spiritual reflection. It is a time focused on prayer, charity, gratitude, and strengthening one’s connection to Allah and to the community. Wishing our Muslim community the best.

It marks the final day of indulgence before Lent, a time for rich food, parades, music, and community.
