Big congratulations to Doug on taking gold this weekend against tough competition! 🥇

He went 3–0 to secure gold in an 8-man division. Strong performance from start to finish.

Match Results:

Match 1: Americana submission in 54 seconds
Match 2: Dominant 9–0 points win
Match 3: Triangle submission 1:30 into the match

What stands out most is not just the result, but the composure. When a student starts saying the game feels like it is “slowing down,” that is a sign the work is paying off. Timing, confidence, control, and mat awareness are starting to come together.

He faced competitors with more tournament experience and still imposed his game. That says a lot.

Proud of you, Doug! 🤩✨

Gold earned. Work continues.
