This week, Cleveland Elementary is celebrating Dolly Parton’s incredible commitment to literacy! Here are three ways you can join the fun:

✨ Dress Like Dolly: This Friday, September 25, wear your rhinestones, cowboy hats, or anything “Dolly”!

📚 Donate a Book: We are partnering with Crabapple Lane Elementary to collect new and gently used early-learning books for Children Read Atlanta. Donations may be dropped off outside our Media Center this week.

💝 Support the Imagination Library: Families can donate at https://donate.imaginationlibrary.com/. Be sure to select GA–Fayette as your local program partner!

Together, we can support Dolly’s mission of putting more books into the hands of young readers! 📖

Students can receive convenient dental care right here at school, including exams, cleanings, X-rays, fluoride, sealants, and cavity treatment when needed.

Dental care is typically covered at no cost for students with Medicaid or CHIP. Other affordable options are also available.

Tomorrow, September 11, we are kicking off the Strong4Life Challenge with an exciting pep rally! Cleveland Elementary was selected to participate in this yearlong program from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, which promotes healthy habits and supports the wellness of the whole child.

Students are encouraged to wear their best fitness gear tomorrow!

We can’t wait to get moving and grow stronger together!

🚗 Please help us keep morning arrival safe and moving smoothly by staying in the car line whenever possible, especially between 7:30–7:40 a.m. Students may not cross the crosswalk alone and must be accompanied by an adult.
