This deserves some recognition. Bret Bielema is a class act and incredible human being.

"Ya'll... I was honored to be a witness to introduction of the biggest Razorback fan in the history of the UofA to the coach of his favorite team, in a beautiful private room at Circle of Life Hospice today. My sweet grandfather has been a Razorback fan for years and years, having recieved his Doctorate at the UofA in the 60's. My dad has previously arranged for private tours of the stadium for my grandfather, even once taking him down on the field to kiss the pig. My uncle arranged to have Bret Bielema come to Circle of Life this morning and visit with my grandfather and our family. I pulled into the parking lot right behind him when we arrived, and shook his hand and my voice cracked as I told him how much this will mean to Grandpa. The myriad of emotions that Grandpa experienced in those 25 minutes of Bret sitting and chatting with him, talking about memorable games in Razorback history, strategy for future seasons, and whatever else my grandfather wanted to talk about.... I just don't have words for how special this was.

I've been a Hog fan since birth, as it was instilled in me. I'm pretty sure I've been calling the Hogs since I could talk. Some of my most treasured memories were made at Razorback stadium. I may not be a football expert, and I may not keep track of stats, but I will be a Razorback fan until the day I die because of this moment. Any team coached by a man with such class and compassion as one to go out of his way to visit an ill, elderly, die-hard fan of his team, is one that I will cheer for regardless of the score on the board or the stats at the end of the season. The Razorbacks are led by a true gentleman, and I am forever grateful for the smile he put on the face of one of my favorite people in the world."
