FTCC is hosting a Family Cyber Safety Night for Students and Parents on Thursday, May 28th from 6:00-7:00pm in the Advanced Technology Center room 116 on the main campus.
This will be an interactive event to help students and parents make smarter, safer choices online together.

AOEMS has been learning from several Industry partners that have volunteered to come out and be guest speakers for our classes! We have recently had Annette Webster from FTCC's Physical Therapy Assistant program, William Imbriale, from Bethany Fire Department (Fire and Paramedic) and NC Forestry sharing about working in EMS, and Miguel Sierra-Velazquez representing Pre-Med UNC Chapel Hill students participating in a mentor program for high school students interested in pursuing careers in medicine!

AOEMS students spent their Saturday learning about many aspects of the Medical Profession with Campbell University's Medical students. One of the Campbell volunteers was an AOIT alumni and shared about attending H.U.M.P. Day when she was an academy student at PFHS. It was a great day and a wonderful opportunity provided by our friends at SR-AHEC.

Thank you to Youth Growth Stock Trust for awarding us a $6,000 grant! 🎉
This funding will allow our students to attend the HOSA State Conference by lowering expenses—supporting future leaders in health care and medicine. We are so grateful for the generosity of United Way through the Youth Growth Stock Trust Grant!
