We’re almost ready for the return of our Farm Fusion and Kinderfarming classes!
We often divide the kids up into small groups so we can have a more hands-on experience. I wanted an easier was for us to quickly divide the class into 2, 3, or 4 groups, depending on the activity. I want to cut down on the amount of time we spent on this, so
I came up with a badge system!
Each class day, the students will choose a two-sided badge to wear. When we need to split into two groups, they will look to see if they have cow or goat sticker. (Everyone has one or the other!). If we want three groups, we can split up into the 3 badge colors. If we need 4 small groups, there is a side of the card with one of four various farm stickers (cat, tractor, horse, or chicken). At the end of class, the badges hang back up and the kids can pick a sticker to take home.
In theory, it should work! I’ll give an update at the end of the next, though! 😁
