Lincoln County’s Inaugural 4-H Clover Bowl Teams! 🍀 They represented LC 4-H well and we celebrated today with a sweet and delicious “Ice Cream Social” compliments of Michael Jeans of Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company and David West of Gerald’s Foodland. From the ice creams to the toppings, we had a super time gathering and celebrating our Clover Bowl endeavors! 4-H sure is fun! 🍨 We are looking to 2027 for more Clover Bowling!

Day 3 of the 4-H Backyard STEM Camp was great! We had some special guests today. TWRA Fisheries, Chris Cole, talked to us about the lakes he takes care of in Middle Tennessee. We learned about the fish in those lakes and how TWRA gathers data about those fish and why that information is important. Mr. Cole might have some fishermen heading his way. 🎣💦 Next, we had some great beekeepers, Mr Ron White and Mrs Donna Kirkwood, join us for more information on the need for pollination, what we can do to help, and the impact that honeybees have on our very own ecosystem. We finished the day with the HONEY Taste Test from local honey sources. 🍯 We all picked a favorite and we all had different opinions! That is what makes the world go round even in your own backyard! See you for the next STEM Camp! 🏕️

Day 2 is a wrap at 4-H Backyard STEM!!! We had a fun day learning about pollinators, pollen and how it is distributed, how plants reproduce and we made our own pollinators and tested how well they did. Our last day is tomorrow if anyone wants to still join in the fun!!! On to day 3!!!

We have had a great first day at our 4-H Backyard STEM Camp. We learned all about different fish species , their ecosystems, and how they eat their food. We acted like a sucker fish and also we acted like a darter fish, which eat their food different ways. On to day 2 tomorrow!!!!!

And these girls made camp so much fun! We filled up a whole cabin of sugar and spice and everything nice! 🥳🍀

Boys will be boys and they had so much fun at 4-H Camp! These guys soaked in every minute of camp fun!
