Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
May we never take their sacrifice for granted and may we lead with gratitude, faith, and courage.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
Happy Memorial Day ❤️🤍💙

Our final Friday Hedgehog Hero Rally of the 2025–26 school year was one we will never forget. 💚🦔
Today we celebrated our students who were recognized for the character focus of Faithful Witness — students who boldly shine God’s light through their words, actions, kindness, honesty, and love for others. A faithful witness is someone who points others to Jesus by the way they live each day, even in the little moments. ✨
We sang, danced, worshipped, laughed, and yes… shed a few tears too. There was so much joy as we reflected on all the memories made this year, but also a little sadness knowing this special school year is coming to an end. Watching our students grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually throughout the 25–26 school year has been such a blessing.
We are incredibly proud of our entire THS family — our students, teachers, staff, and families who make our school so special. Thank you for helping us create a school filled with love, growth, worship, encouragement, and unforgettable moments.
Keep shining bright, Hedgehogs. The world needs your light. 💚✨
“Let your light shine before others…” Matthew 5:16

Today, we celebrate the women whose love never clocks out. 💚
Mothers are the early mornings, the late nights, the endless prayers, the comforting hugs, the gentle guidance, and the unwavering faith that hold families together. They give so much of themselves every single day — often in quiet ways that go unseen — yet their impact lasts for generations.
At The Hill School, we are incredibly thankful for the mothers, grandmothers, and motherly figures who pour out endless love, sacrifice, grace, and strength into the lives of our students. Your nurturing hearts reflect the love of Christ so beautifully.
“Her children arise and call her blessed.” Proverbs 31:28
Happy Mother’s Day to the incredible women who make the world brighter with their faith and love. 🌸

☀️🌻 You Are My Sunshine at The Hill School 🌻☀️
We celebrated our mothers yesterday and it was filled with sunshine, dancing, laughter, sunflowers, sweet treats, and some of the most precious moments shared between our students and the incredible women who love them so deeply. From our littlest learners to our elementary students, both THS campuses were overflowing with joy as we celebrated the moms, grandmas, and motherly figures who brighten our lives every single day. 💛
Thank you for the hugs, the prayers, the sacrifices, the encouragement, the patience, and the endless love you pour into your children. We are so grateful for the beautiful families that make The Hill School so special. These memories will forever warm our hearts! ☀️
Her children rise up and call her blessed. Proverbs 31:28

This week’s Hedgehog Heroes were recognized for demonstrating Unshakable Joy — a joy that remains steady no matter the circumstances.
Throughout the week, students learned from Paul and Silas in Acts 16 that true joy does not come from everything going perfectly, but from trusting that God is always with us, always good, and always in control. Even while in prison, Paul and Silas chose worship, faith, and joy.
Teachers observed these students showing positive attitudes, encouraging classmates, responding with patience and kindness, and reflecting the joy of the Lord through their words and actions. Their joy became a light that pointed others to Jesus.
“Always be ready to give an answer to anyone that asks you about the hope you have.” — 1 Peter 3:15
We are so proud of our Hedgehog Heroes for finishing the school year with hearts full of faith, joy, and hope. 💚

This week our K - 5th grade students took learning to new heights at the Arkansas Air & Military Museum! ✈️💚
The students favorite activity was a scavenger hunt! From standing beneath historic aircraft to exploring the science of flight, our students experienced hands-on learning in the most exciting way possible. Throughout the day, students discovered how airplanes generate lift, how pilots navigate the skies, and how aviation has changed throughout history. They explored real aircraft up close, observed engineering and design features, and asked incredible questions about mechanics, transportation, weather, technology, and military history.
Field trips like these bring classroom learning to life by connecting science, STEM, history, problem-solving, and curiosity all in one place. Students practiced observation skills, teamwork, listening, and critical thinking while gaining a deeper understanding of how innovation and perseverance have shaped aviation over time.
Most importantly…they had SO much fun learning together! We are incredibly thankful for opportunities that allow our students to explore the world beyond the classroom through meaningful, hands-on experiences. 💚🛩️

This week at The Hill School, we are focusing on Unshakable Joy—a joy that doesn’t change based on circumstances, but stays rooted in God’s truth.
Throughout the week, students are learning that true joy comes from knowing God is always with us—no matter what we face. This kind of joy is steady, strong, and shines brightly for others to see.
As we continue through the final weeks of our GO! Curriculum and Hedgehog Hero character journey, we are cherishing every moment and encouraging our students to live out their faith with joy, confidence, and purpose.
