As much as it disappointed me…
I knew it was time to pull the plug on this years bodybuilding prep when I was skipping cardio, missing workouts, felt like I couldn’t get a grip on anything, and was mostly looking forward to prep being over.
The extra sucky thing is that I was still making great progress despite those things.
I knew something needed to change. Workouts felt like they were externally driven. Like I HAD to do them for the sake of prep and not for myself.
So we’re shifting things back to internal motivators. Showing up to workouts for me and the enjoyment of a good challenge.
