Highland Rim School "It's ALWAYS a great day at The Rim"
Highland Rim School sits in the eastern Highland Rim basin of Tennessee in Lincoln County. Leadership is also a priority.

The school serves kindergarten through 8th grades and has seen tremendous growth since it opened its doors. Highland Rim has excelled in academics, and in 2015 and 2021, was named a Reward School by the State of Tennessee for Top 5% performance in growth and achievement. Highland Rim proudly supports academic success through the Beta Club and Scholar's Bowl team. With an emphasis placed on academic performance, the school is proud to see many former Hornets recognized in the top 10% of seniors at Lincoln County High School each year. For the past 16 years, students have participated in student council activities, and HRS is a member of the Tennessee Association of Student Councils. In 2019, Highland Rim School began a program to ensure all students and adults were connected to the school family and foster the idea of community. Through our House of Hornets program, students and adults in our school are placed into a family and these families form "houses". In 2022 we developed a curriculum to bridge our House of Hornets and our classrooms, and Family Time evolved. Through these programs, students and teachers form bonds and build relationships. Relationships and community are the cornerstones for success at Highland Rim School, and students leave with the heartfelt belief that "Once a Hornet, Always a Hornet."
