Informal get together for FHS Class of 1987, and any others that want to join.
(Was too late to have a “big party”)
Maybe in Spring/summer we can do a combined reunion with ”86,87,88)

Any interest in having a reunion on Saturday oct 8 at the basement of us pizza?

So, Reunion planning, like wedding planning, should start Months if not years in advance. Called and emailed every venue I knew and could find on Google and all are booked. (Blues/BBQ). Was thinking we could all try to get together for drinks somewhere Friday night October 7.
Then, will get together with “powers that be” from Class of ‘88, ‘89 and maybe ‘86 and see if they want to do a big one next spring or summer.

FHS Homecoming game then reserve private room for drinks
Sat Oct 8
Morning:school tour
Night: Venue with band
I’m good doing this schedule again, but am open to other ideas if you want to do something different (leave ideas in comments)

Our own Mike Malone is being inducted into the Fayetteville Public Education Foundation HALL OF HONOR
I am sure he would be honored by your attendance. I will be there.

On Sat Aug 6: Many from our class are gathering for dinner and drinks as well, details to follow

The Reunion is FIVE weeks away, September 15-16. (time for me to get into the gym). I've arranged for everything to be pay for your own, so there will be NO need to collect money.
Fri 9/15
5:30 Tailgate Happy Hour Harmon Field Pavilion (Bring own food drink)
Attend game or hang out in Pavilion
Post Game: Meet at Theo's 318 Campbell Ave (Drinks on your own)
Sat 9/16
1 PM Picnic Wilson Park Pavilion, 205 W Prospect St, (Bring your own food and drink)
6 PM-10 PM Hog Haus Brewery "Upstairs" 430 W Dickson St (Food and drink on your own, Please come hungry and thirsty as we do have a minimum we need to meet)

Remember, the Reunion is Sept 15-16

Sat 1pm Picnic Wilson Park Pavilion
Sat 7pm Reunion (TBA)

MARK YOUR CALENDAR'S...It seems most people who voted wanted the Reunion in the early Fall. After looking at multiple dates Sept 15-16th appears to be the best weekend. More details to follow

It is with great sadness that I inform you, one of our fellow classmates, Shane Cowan passed away this past weekend. Please keep his friends and family in your prayers.
