Today, our Cougars had an AWESOME time closing out Quarter 1 and kicking off our Intercession Break! 🙌🏾💙 We celebrated with kickball, fun, laughter, friendly competition, and so much Cougar spirit! ⚾️😎

What a great way to end the quarter and celebrate all the hard work of our students and staff! 👏🏾🎊

Now it’s time to REST, RESET & RECHARGE! 🔋✨

KINDNESS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Today at Reid Ross, students and staff came together to recognize Su***de Prevention & Awareness Day by spreading kindness, encouragement, and hope throughout our school community.

Students, teachers, and staff from all grade levels took part by writing uplifting words and messages on cards that were shared with students during dismissal. Sometimes, a simple message of kindness is exactly what someone needs to be reminded that they are seen, valued, and supported.

This meaningful event was a combined effort sponsored by the Reid Ross Key Club and our School Social Worker, Ms. Pierce-Ford. Thank you to everyone who helped make today a beautiful reminder that we are stronger when we look out for one another. 🫶🏽

COUGARS CHOOSE HOPE!

Today we kicked off Spirit Week with HBCUs Through the Decades Day! Our Cougars celebrated the rich history, culture, legacy, and traditions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities by bringing the style of the 1960s–2000s to life!

REMEMBERING. HONORING. REFLECTING.

Today, our Reid Ross Cougars came together to honor and remember the lives forever changed by September 11, 2001.

Our 9/11 program was a meaningful opportunity for our students and staff to reflect on the courage of the first responders, the strength of those who served, the lives lost, and the unity that brought our nation together during one of its darkest moments.

We remember the heroes.
We honor the lives lost.
We recognize the strength of those who carried on.
And we teach the next generation why we must never forget.
