A field trip to the Castle Hayne Quarry for fossil collecting is in the books for Friday, May 25 from 9-4. Make sure you contact Mark Wilkins to get on the list.

Last nights meeting had Kenny demonstrating his flat lap which can be used for facing or polishing stones. I brought several bags of daylilies from my garden to pass out to attendees. Tom Gitchel brought a trilobite and a green crystal specimen to show.
