Also at the town council meeting Jim Akers Class of 1954 was recognized by the WV Municipal League for over 20 years of municipal government. Jim has served as council member, recorder and mayor. Thank you Jim for your service 💚🥳💚

Last night at the Fayetteville Town Council meeting, Evelyn “Boots” Estep was recognized by the Council with a proclamation. Zenda Vance presented Boots flowers from the FHS alumni for her 100th birthday! 💚Boots was born on November 7, and graduated in the FHS class of 1942💚 Happy Birthday Boots💚🥳💚

They say practice makes perfect and while we are still in football season, it’s never to early to start practicing your foul shots to be a winner at next year’s Come on Home Reunion. As you can see Becky Canterbury Wood has already started practicing her form! Looking good Becky💚…..Eddie you will have some competition there!

Mark your calendar’s now so there will be no excuse, July 5, 2025 for the next reunion, this one will be extra special as it will be another year we recognize some new inductees to the sports hall of fame 💚.

And before we forget the Class of ‘62 is coming after you Class of ‘69 for the Spirit Stick😎💚. Of course it is wide open to any class who has the most registered for the reunion! 290 days and counting!

The class of 1969 took the Spirit stick away from the class of 1962, who will win next year?? Class of 1962 carried it for two year💚

It’s that time of the year to “Come on Home”
Emails with attached registration forms will be emailed this week so if you don’t get one please let Debbie Richardson or Sharon Cruikshank know and we will get one to you.
If you are bringing a guest, we will need the guest information section filled out on the registration form.
Meal reservations are required by the deadline date. There will be no meals provided if reservations are not made.
We look forward to seeing you on July 6.

Where: Fayetteville Church of God Fellowship Hall, 114 Harvey St.
What time: Doors open at 10AM, with lunch served 11:30AM
Reservations need: by June 21st, 2024
Cost is: $25 per person.
