Our first film of the International Film Festival is this Friday the 21st. You don't want to miss this, and will be presented by our student Kseniia Petrova, EARTHQUAKE (Russia/Armenia). See flier for details. Please note, this event is only open to MU students, faculty, and staff, and not to the public as in the past. Only the first 35 will be allowed entry (Nursing Auditorium capacity) and with a mask. Don't be late!
Welcome back everyone and a warm welcome to our new students! In spite of everything, we do have some activities planned for this semester. Soon the International Film series will begin. Please keep an eye out for the schedule and for other events and activities from the Center for Global Education. Have a great semester!

This was going to be our best show ever; we had taken so much time and put in so much effort with all the details and practices. A majority of the would have been participants are graduating International seniors. Good luck to you all on your graduation. For the rest of you, see you next fall!

Come on out of the rain and cold this evening to our cozy, welcoming International Film Festival.
Tonight features a film from Italy from noted and award winning director, Vittorio De Sica. Splendidly recreated, De Sica's elegantly painful and eloquently tragic tribute to the demise of the Jews in Ferrara, Italy in WWII deservedly won the best foreign-language Oscar in 1971.

LAST FOREIGN FILM OF THE SEMESTER THIS FRIDAY!
This is a film of firsts- first international film from Saudia Arabia but more importantly the first film from a female Saudi director, and many other "firsts".
This foreign film is what a good foreign film should be - it breaks religious and cultural barriers as well raising the question of intolerance or tolerance(?)
