Highland Learning Center Our goal is to nurture and develop the “whole child” physically, intellectually, emotionally, so We know that all children develop at different rates.

Highland Learning Center respects and believes that children are unique individuals with the ability to construct knowledge about themselves, others, and the world around them through active learning. We believe in providing meaningful activities that encourage them to learn through play, exploration and discovery as they grow. Our program provides developmentally appropriate practices designed to meet the individual needs of each child. Through both group and individual activities, children are encouraged to develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually at their own individual rate. At Highland Learning Center, we support children’s growth and development by fostering caring, respectful, and responsive relationships with each child. Each room provides a child-centered environment with a wide range of materials and developmentally appropriate activities, which allow your child to create, manipulate, explore, and discover their distinctive interests. Each child is valued and recognized as a unique individual with a large capacity for growth and development.

As we wrap up another amazing summer at Highland Learning Center, we just want to say a huge thank you to all of our families for trusting us to be part of your children’s summer memories!

From field trips and water days to foam parties, adventures, laughter, friendships, and everything in between, Summer Camp 2026 was one to remember.

A special thank you to our incredible teachers and staff who worked so hard to make each day fun and safe.

We may be a few days late, but we couldn’t let August go by without celebrating Ms. Tish! Her birthday was August 7th, and we hope her special day was filled with lots of love, laughter, and all the things that make her smile!

Ms. Tish, thank you for everything you do and for being such a special part of our Highland Learning Center family. We hope this next year brings you so many reasons to celebrate!

If you weren’t at Highland, you definitely missed out! Our Foam Party with Xfinity Games, LLC, Mobile Video Game Theater was packed with giggles, bubbles, and endless fun. We love creating experiences our children will remember long after the foam is gone!
