Huge news for St. Mary’s Academy! We are thrilled to announce that ARISS USA has officially selected SMA as one of only four schools in the Archdiocese of Atlanta to host a LIVE amateur radio contact with astronauts aboard the International Space Station this school year!
After a rigorous application process, our dedication to STEM excellence truly shone through. With our school focus centered on space this year, our students will get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to speak directly with the ISS crew while exploring space science, engineering, technology, and amateur radio.

The SMA Cross Country team performed exceptionally well despite the wet weather at the Konos Flyover Meet. Jonathan Sloan set a new personal record in the boys 5K. Jordyn Lindsay ran a stellar race, finishing just a few seconds shy of her personal best in the girls 5K.

In the middle school races, Chase McCoy and Robert Moraitis both achieved new personal records. Ben Krabel finished strong with a great sprint at the end of his race. An Ha smashed his previous personal record by more than three minutes! Alyah Senatus Pierre Louis was the first Bobcat to finish in the girls race, clocking her fastest time in the 3K distance. Bella Dang, Emma Desjardins, and Savannah Maxey also set new personal bests.

Today was a great day of homecoming fun. We brought back a Mercy tradition and held a fashion show at each lunch. We will have a fashion show each day of homecoming week. Each winner gets a treat and point for house points

Sixth graders in Mr. Bailey's social studies class are exploring how geography shape the Aztec empire! After taking guided notes, students built Aztec temple models using Legos.
This hands-on activity serves as a preview before they transform their designs into 3-D digital models.
