The Methodist University Cape Fear Valley Health School of Medicine opened in July 2026 and held its inaugural white coat ceremony in September 2026. Alyssa Soltren, VCA class of 2020, is a student in this inaugural class. Her story is featured on pages 20-23. Congratulations, Alyssa!

We are sharing a decade of memories in honor of Grandparents Day, and the timeless blessing their visits have been to our campus and our students. Looking through these photos reminds us just how foundational our grandparents are to our school family.

Thank you to our grandparents and special friends for worshiping with us, cheering us on, and anchoring our students in love and faith.

On the 25th anniversary of a tragedy upon our nation, our Village family pauses to remember the lives lost, the heroes who served, and the families forever changed on September 11, 2001.

In moments of tragedy, we are reminded that God remains our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Today, we pray for continued comfort for grieving families, wisdom for our nation's leaders, and protection over those who selflessly serve to keep us safe.

May we always choose love over fear, unity over division, and walk in Christ's light.

Our annual Smart Card campaign ends this Monday! Drop a comment below with the name of your favorite smart card business and on Monday we will draw a name for a gift card. For a bonus entry, post a photo of your family using your Smart Card.

Elementary and Middle School Incentives
**Top 3 sellers in each division go to the state fair
**Sell your first ten cards and get a sticker or water bottle

High school Incentives
**Each card sold = one community service hour (20 hours max)
**Top seller earns lunch with an administrator and two friends

POP UP PRIZE DAYS are NEW this year and special prize days will be announced randomly during the school day. Be sure to sell to be eligible for pop up prizes.
