Obituary for Arenson Nichols Williams | Rogers & Breece Funeral Service Celebrate the life of Arenson Williams and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our own Coach Nick Williams’ passing.

He has been bravely fighting a battle with cancer since he found out the news in June and he has now left his earthly body to go home to be with our Lord and Savior. While we mourn his loss deeply, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace with our Lord and Savior.

Coach Nick has coached boys’ and girls’ golf at VCA for the past five years. Under his leadership, the VCA golf program brought home many conference championships, and the boys' varsity team won the State Championship in the spring of 2025. Beyond his success as a coach, his dedication to mentoring our young people by living his life full of joy and always wearing a smile has left a lasting impact on all of us who had the pleasure of working with him. He loved serving the student athletes of VCA.

We know this news may be hard to process, especially for the athletes he has coached and even more for his own family. Thank you for surrounding the Williams’ family and our school community with your love, prayers, and support as we walk through this together. We will provide funeral arrangements as it becomes available.

Village is thrilled to welcome Coach Elijah Cox to the Kastle. Coach Cox will be leading our Strength and Weight Training Program as well as building the foundation for the return of football in the fall of 2027.

We are excited to launch this new chapter and hope you will join us in welcoming Coach Elijah Cox and his wife, Heather, to our Village family.

National Beta members from Village recently participated in the 2026 National Elementary Beta Convention held at the Ga***rd Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Our Knights joined thousands of Beta members from across the United States to celebrate academic achievement, leadership, character, and service while competing in a variety of national competitions.

During the convention, members from Village earned recognition in the following events:

Engineering (Joel B, Sutton H, India B, and Ella K)-5th Place
Creative Writing (Lydia C)-3rd Place
5th Grade Math (Oro A)-9th Place
4th Grade Sciene (Ella K)-10th Place

National Convention provides opportunities for students in grades 4-12 to showcase their talents through individual and team competitions, leadership experiences, service initiatives, networking opportunities, and educational programming. The annual event brings together top-performing students who have advanced through state conventions and earned the opportunity to compete on the national stage.

Congratulations to each of our Knights who attended and competed at National Elementary Beta Convention!
