🎉📚 CCA staff had the opportunity to attend the Southeast Christian School Convention in Myrtle Beach over the past few days! 🌊☀️

We spent time in workshops being encouraged, learning new teaching strategies, and gathering great ideas to bring back to our classrooms. ✏️🍎 It was a wonderful time of professional growth, fellowship, and preparation for serving our students even better this school year. We even joined fellow Christian educators in collective praise and worship 🙌🎶 as we were reminded of God's faithfulness and our calling to impact lives for Christ. ✝️❤️

Of course, we also made time for some delicious food 🍽️ and a little sightseeing 🏖️👀—after all, we were in Myrtle Beach!

We are truly blessed to have had another year at the convention and are excited to put what we've learned into action. 💙💛

🏐⚽ What a night for our Cougars!
As we were getting ready to start the 2nd set of our volleyball match against Liberty and celebrating a 3–0 soccer victory over Liberty, our amazing principal snapped this great picture! 🌈

🌈 We love reminders of God’s promises and His sovereignty over all! 🙏🏻

PS: Boys Soccer won 3-0 and both JV AND Varsity Volleyball won!! It’s a great night for the Cougars!! 🐾💙💛

🎤 Passing the Mic: Teacher Edition! 🍎😂
Today we passed the mic with a fun twist! Instead of traditional introductions, teachers introduced one another by their funniest habits, quirks, and most predictable traits. 🤣

From favorite catchphrases to those little things we do without even realizing it, there were plenty of laughs and a few moments of, "Yep, that's definitely me!" 😆
We may have some quirky personalities and predictable habits, but that's what makes our team so special.

❤️ Nothing brings a staff together quite like celebrating the unique qualities that make each of us who we are!

🙌🏾 On Thursday, we praise and worship!🙏🏻

Thank you, Mr. Ollis, for the powerful reminder that God hates arrogance in any form. It was a convicting message that challenged us to examine our hearts, humble ourselves before the Lord, and reset our focus on Him. Grateful for the opportunity to grow in faith and be reminded that true strength is found in humility.

❤️ Tragedy reminds us that life is precious and that every moment matters.

🙏 Even in the darkest times, God remains in control. His presence is constant, His love endures, and His purpose is greater than what we can see.

🕊️ As we honor those we lost and those who answered the call to serve, let us also choose kindness. Extend grace. Show compassion. Love your neighbor.

💙 You never know what someone may be carrying, and a simple act of kindness can make all the difference.

✨ Through every trial, every hardship, and every uncertainty, one truth remains:

🚧✨ A Magical Morning Appearance by Coneila ✨🚧

Somewhere between sunrise and the first wave of car riders, a giant traffic cone named Coneila magically appeared at the merge point in our parking lot.

Word had reached her that there were some morning merging difficulties, so she graciously offered her expertise in the fine art of the zipper merge, also known as the legendary Chick-fil-A merge. Thanks to Coneila, drivers were reminded that taking turns isn’t just polite, it’s efficient!

It was an honor to host Coneila this morning as she brought smiles, encouraged proper merging techniques, and helped keep traffic flowing.

Before disappearing as mysteriously as she arrived, Coneila left us with one final message:
📢 “If you’re arriving at 7:55 a.m. or later, your child doesn’t have much time to get to class and get settled before the first bell rings at 8:00. 👀 Have a great daaaayy!”

🫡Thank you for your service, Coneila. We never know when or where you’ll magically appear next. 🚧💫

Wet down those cowlicks, tame those edges, brush those teeth, iron those shirts, and bring your biggest, brightest smile! 😁🪮👕✨🪥

Don't forget to wear your normal school dress code attire, including your polo shirt, belt (if required), and neat, school-appropriate clothing. 👔👕👌

Your child was sent home with an order form last week for 2026-2027 school portraits, so be sure to check those backpacks! 🎒📄
