One week ago, we launched the AROTA Conference at UA/UAMS and also held the final class for our third-year students. The capstone project is now the only requirement standing between them and graduation. The future of OT is in GREAT hands!

The AROTA Conference has gotten off to a great start! Big Red heard about it and came to join in the fun!

We launched the AROTA mOTivate Conference this afternoon with engaging pre-conference trainings and the AROTA Awards Banquet, setting the tone for a truly inspiring day. Our very own Shaina Meyer was honored as Educator of the Year, while MaryAnn Talley, one of our year 3 students, took home the Student of the Year award. Congratulations to all the nominees and award winners on their outstanding achievements!

As we prepare for our Creative Arts Intervention course, these herbs will take center stage in our exploration of innovative strategies for integrating nature into Occupational Therapy.

This morning, the UA/ UAMS OTD Program had the privilege of inspiring 21 MASH students to explore the dynamic field of Occupational Therapy.
