This Saturday, Master Shim’s World Class Demo Team is taking the stage at the Peachtree City Dragon Boat Festival at Drake Field!

Come watch our talented martial artists bring the energy with powerful kicks, exciting techniques, incredible demonstrations and the teamwork and discipline that make our Demo Team so special.

SCHOOL’S OUT… CAMP IS ON!

School breaks are coming, and Master Shim’s World Class Tae Kwon Do has FOUR awesome camps planned to keep kids active, engaged, learning and having FUN!

The Great Pumpkin Week — October 12–16
Camp Turkey Trot — November 23–27
T’was the Night Before… — December 21–23
Camp Spring Fling — April 5–9

Each camp brings its own theme and activities, along with plenty of Tae Kwon Do fun, games, challenges, character building and time with friends!

Weekly Rate: $269
Daily Rate: $60
Open to ALL students!

Color Belt Testing is almost here! If you’re testing this Friday, September 25th, now is the time to make sure that testing form is completed and turned in.

Keep coming to class, practice those forms, sharpen those techniques and ask your instructors about anything that still needs a little work.

TEAM K26 — THE BIG DAY IS ALMOST HERE!

Months of training. Countless repetitions. Corrections. Sweat. Determination. And the decision to keep going even when it was hard.

Now Team K26 is entering the final stretch of their journey toward BLACK BELT TESTING!

These students have worked incredibly hard to prepare for this moment, and on Saturday, October 3rd, they’ll step onto the floor ready to show not only what they have learned, but the discipline, perseverance, confidence and character they have built along the way.

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY: PROGRESS IS PRACTICE

You don’t have to be great at something the first time. You just have to be willing to try it again.

In Tae Kwon Do, students quickly learn that progress rarely happens all at once.

A kick gets a little higher.
A form becomes a little sharper.
A student who once stood quietly in the back begins answering with confidence.
Something that felt impossible a few months ago suddenly feels natural.

Why?

Because they kept showing up.

Every class, every correction, every mistake and every “Let me try that again” is part of becoming stronger — both on and off the mat.

So here’s our Motivational Monday challenge for students AND parents:

Choose one thing this week that you want to improve and give it your best effort — not just once, but consistently.

You might be surprised by what happens when you stop expecting perfection and start celebrating PROGRESS. ⭐

This Sunday’s spotlight belongs to Eden Kim!

Eden has been putting in the work, bringing a great attitude to the dojang and showing the kind of effort that deserves to be celebrated!

One of the greatest things about Tae Kwon Do is watching students discover what they are capable of when they stay focused and keep working toward their goals. Every class is another chance to get a little stronger, a little more confident and a little closer to that next milestone.

This week, the spotlight belongs to Dash Chase!

Our Locust Grove school may be our newest location, but students like Dash are already helping build something pretty special on these mats!

Every time a student comes to class ready to learn, accepts a challenge and keeps trying even when something is difficult, another piece of that Black Belt attitude begins to grow.
