2026 Summer Experience 🦁🤩

We had another great year of our summer experience camp. A group of juniors and seniors joined us for the week and got a great look into life at Methodist and what PGM is! There was lots of golf Downback, a trip to Pinehurst Resort to play the Cradle, golf instruction from our 6 PGA Professionals, and a great inside look into PGM curriculum. We enjoyed the week and hope to see these students return as Monarchs!

We are starting to wrap up our summer internship visits with some stops closer to campus!

Caleb Zvanut is on his first 3-month internship at Olde Edward’s Club in Cashiers, NC.

Completing his second 3-month is Luke Wood at Myers Park Country Club in Charlotte, NC.

At Warrior Golf Club in China Grove, NC is Corbin Hales on this first 3-month internship.

Jacob Irwin is completing this second 3-month internship at the Challenge Golf Club in Graham, NC.

Over in Wake Forest, NC is Ethan Gelo completing his first 3-month internship at The Hasentree Club.

Completing his second 3-month internship is Will Plageman at the Dustin Johnson Golf School in Murrells Inlet, SC.

We are excited to welcome Kenley from Lubbock, TX into the MU family and PGM class of 2030! 👏

Thank you PGA of America and National High School Golf Association for having us out for registration day at the 2026 PGA High School Golf National Invitational! We enjoyed meeting all the players and wish them luck this week.

We also got to see some of our students hard at work on their internships. John Luke was at the Titleist booth educating the players on the differences in golf balls. This summer he is on his 3-month internship as a ball fitter for Titleist in the Charlotte area. Logan Williams recently graduated and is on his 7-month internship working in the Titleist Shop at Pinehurst Resort.

Internship Site Visit Updates 🥳

Stopped in and saw Spencer Cornelius and Jack Lorenz on their 7-month internships at Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne, PA. They are working alongside Scott Reilly ‘06 who is the Head Professional.

Over at Chartwell Golf & Country Club in Severna Park, MD is Chase Kasulke on his third 3-month internship.

On his first 3-month internship is Dylan Saxon at The Berkshire Country Club in Reading, PA.

Will Fessler is completing his third 3-month internship at Morris Country Club in Morristown, NJ.

On his second 3-month internship is Nick Joyce at Spring Brook Country Club in Morristown, NJ.

Over at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ is Ben Fox on his second 3-month internship.
