💙 Help Us Reach of Our Goal! 💙
A few years ago, I started Desired Destiny Learning Center with a vision: to create a place where children could learn, grow, and succeed in a safe and supportive environment.
Since then, we have had the privilege of serving more than 40 families through tutoring, after-school care, summer camp, and educational enrichment programs. We have celebrated students making Honor Roll, improving academically, passing their EOGs, and gaining confidence in themselves and their abilities. This year, we were also honored to be nominated in the Community Choice Awards for our tutoring services and commitment to local families.
Throughout the summer, we continue that mission by providing tutoring, daily learning enrichment, educational field trips, and hands-on experiences designed to help prevent learning loss and prepare students for the next school year. We also focus on teaching leadership, responsibility, respect, and what it means to be a positive role model within our community.
Like many educational and childcare programs, summer is often our most challenging season. As family schedules change and financial pressures increase, some families are unable to continue summer programming despite wanting their children to participate. We understand these challenges and remain committed to serving our community, but these seasonal changes can make it difficult for small programs like ours to continue providing the quality educational experiences and support that children deserve.
Our Summer Support Campaign will continue throughout the month of June, but our immediate goal is to reach 50% of our fundraising goal within the next 9 days. Reaching this milestone will help us continue providing educational opportunities, academic support, enrichment experiences, and community programs for the children and families we serve.

We are also actively building the Desired Destiny Community Impact Foundation and are currently awaiting our 501(c)(3) determination. Our vision is to create scholarship and sponsorship opportunities that allow more children to access tutoring, enrichment programs, and educational support regardless of financial circumstances.
