Yesterday, we were able to give a presentation, about beekeeping, to all of the middle-level Madison Oneida BOCES students. Mr. and Mrs. Roberts's students helped build the boxes for the beehives and paint them too. Other students were able to try on bee jackets and touch all of the beekeeping supplies. It was a great experience for all.

We visited an apple orchard and watched apple cider being made! It was delicious!! 😋
They shred the apples and press out the juice - you can see the liquid flowing out into the container below!

Good morning! 🙂 We love having wildlife in our backyard! Birdseed for birds and chipmunks and sugar water for our hummingbirds (heat up 4 parts water to dissolve 1 part sugar, then let it cool) brings lots of little critters our way!

We're making an inference that this tree was struck by lightning! During a hike around Round Lake at Green Lakes State Park, we noticed the burnt patch at the bottom of the tree, then we noticed the burnt bark up the side of the tree. Pretty awesome!!

Last week we hiked down the Chittenango Falls State Park trail to see the falls up close! One of our favorite places!
