Congratulations Hailey Ross

🎓 The Cumberland County Association of Principals and Assistant Principals (CCAPAP) awarded $1,000 scholarships to qualifying CCS seniors, with one recipient selected from each high school across the district.

These scholarships support students as they prepare for the next step in their education and help defray the cost of higher learning.

We are beyond proud of our graduates and all they have accomplished throughout their journey at CF. From memories made in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, and throughout our community …this class has truly left their mark.

What an incredible year it has been at Cape Fear High School! We are so thankful for our amazing staff and school community that make CF such a special place to be each and every day. Your hard work, dedication, love, and support for our students do not go unnoticed.

We were honored to celebrate some truly outstanding individuals:

🏆 Support Staff of the Year – Mr. Hart, our incredible Safe Schools Coordinator
🚌 Bus Driver of the Year – Ms. West, celebrating 28 years of dedication to Cape Fear
🍎 Teacher Assistant of the Year – Ms. Starling
📚 Teacher of the Year – Mr. Wright
🌟 Beginning Teacher of the Year – Ms. Myers

We also want to recognize and celebrate our retirees, Ms. Kathy Lee and Ms. Cotton, for their years of love and commitment to Cape Fear High School. We wish you both the very best on your next journey!

A special congratulations to all staff members who received longevity pins this year, honoring 10 to 35 years of service. Your dedication and loyalty help make Cape Fear one special place.

We would also like to give a huge thank you to our amazing community supporters who helped make this BBQ bash such a success! Thank you to Kinlaw’s, the Daughtry Family, and Texas Roadhouse for your generous donations and continued support of Cape Fear High School. Our community partnerships mean so much to us, and we are truly grateful.

We also want to thank our amazing intern this year Mrs. Marsh for all that she has done for Cape Fear and we wish her all the best in her next journey.

After two successful graduation practices, CF’s Class of 2026 is ready for the big day! Due to their hard work and preparation for both practices, CF graduates were asked to arrive between 3:00 and 3:15 p.m. Students who prefer to arrive earlier to avoid traffic are welcome to do so. CF staff will be ready and excited to help make the Class of 2026 graduation a memorable celebration! 🎓✨
