In March, The Fayetteville Saint Avold Friendship Alliance invited Massey Hill art students to submit entries into the 1st Annual FSAFA art competition, promoting the influence of French art in the world. Students chose from recreating French iconic monuments to recreating famous artworks. The FSAFA board voted on entries on May 14 and awards were distributed May 15. Student works will be auctioned off at the FSAFAโ€™s Bastille Day celebration held this year on Friday,July 10 during the Silent Auction held as a fundraiser for supporting cultural and educational connections to our Sister city in France. If you would like to get tickets to the Bastille Day celebration or want to join FSAFA, please contact Karen Canady [email protected] or go to the Fayetteville Saint Avold Friendship Alliance FB page.
