Alderman Road Elementary School Alderman Road Elementary School is home of the Bear Cubs. We are in the Gray's Creek High School District. ARES is a community school that works together.

I sent letters on behalf of the class to all 50 state tourism departments, as well all 63 national parks. The idea was to hopefully get geography, history, and social studies to become more exciting and engaging. We recieved our first response back today! New York sent us pins, stickers, maps, and activity books! We're hoping to get more similar responses for the classroom and students. Thank you, NY! We ❤️ NY! Thank for sharing Ms. Dandoy's 2nd Graders.

Eureka Baptist Church is hosting a free community outreach event on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the parking lot of Lowe's Home Improvement at 3909 Ramsey Street in Fayetteville, NC. [1]
Event Details
Date & Time: Saturday, September 19, from 10 AM – 4 PM.
Location: Lowe's Home Improvement parking lot, 3909 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311.
Free Services: Medical van health screenings including A1C (blood sugar) and blood pressure checks [and image].
Free Giveaways: Hygiene kits, non-perishable food boxes (first-come, first-served), and a free meal with hamburgers or hotdogs [and image].
Activities: Kids fun zone featuring a bounce house.

Reminder: Two-Hour Early Release

Please remember that Tuesday, September 22, 2026, will be a two-hour early release day for students.

Students will be dismissed at 12:10 PM.

🚌 Bus Riders: Please keep in mind that buses will also run approximately two hours earlier than usual. If you normally meet your child at the bus stop, please plan to arrive early.
