We're very excited for this upcoming project!!
Renewable Energy Coming to Campus A 25-acre solar farm developed for the Fayetteville campus will save money, reduce air emissions, and hedge against rising utility rates.
Facilities Management will be closed TODAY Friday July 15, 2022 from 11am to 2pm for our annual employee appreciation picnic. Our calls will be forwarded to University of Arkansas Police Department if there are any emergencies during those hours.

Construction will begin this week on Razorback Road to complete pedestrian safety improvements. Although two-way traffic will be maintained during the construction, lane reductions may be required.
Final Phase of Razorback Road Expansion Underway Sidewalk improvements and an additional southbound lane between Hotz Drive and Nolan Richardson Drive will be added during the summer as the last pieces in a multi-year project.

We've wrapped up construction on the university's newest tennis courts. Located off MLK Blvd. behind Chick-fil-A and Sonic, the new courts will help expand University Recreation's programming.
A grand opening celebration is set for Tuesday, April 12.
University Recreation Tennis Center Set to Open The UREC Tennis Center features 12 tennis courts (four courts with backboards to allow for individual play) and a service facility that includes an equipment checkout center and restrooms.

The newly released documentary, If This Walk Could Talk, about the unique history and significance of the Senior Walk tradition at the U of A, is now available for free on YouTube.
Installing the Senior Walk is a tradition we're very proud to be part of. Every summer we get to add a new year of graduates to our campus and continue adding to university history.

Welcome back, everyone! We made some changes over winter break including updated speed limits to help improve campus safety.
The speed limit reductions are part of a collaborative effort with the City of Fayetteville to calm streets and improve safety for drivers and pedestrians community-wide. Unless otherwise noted, campus streets will be signed at the city's newly adopted default speed limit of 20 miles per hour.

We're almost ready to open the new Student Success Center! This week, we're working on landscaping and will be installing trees along Campus Drive. Next week, Sculptor Bryan Massey will be onsite as we reinstall the Silas Hunt memorial statue.
Student Success Center in Final Stage of Construction The new Student Success Center is in its final stages of construction. Over the next few weeks, final touches are being added in preparation for the spring semester.
