Planning your commute for the school year? Walking and biking to school are great ways for students to start the day energized while helping shorten our morning drop-off car line!

Through Fayetteville’s Safe Routes to School initiative, we’ve put together a quick safety guide and campus route map for our families.

Quick Tips for Safe Active Travel:
🚶Walkers: Use designated sidewalks, crosswalks, and stick to the buddy system.
🚴 Bikers & Rollers: Always wear a fitted helmet and ride in the direction of traffic.
🛠️Report Issues: Notice a sidewalk hazard or signal issue? Use Fayetteville’s SeeClickFix app to let the city know!

Whether you’re counting mountains of zinc during Penny Wars, surviving the beautiful chaos of Teacher Appreciation Week, rolling the Snack Wagon through the halls like a five-star catering service, organizing the school store, helping with dances, field trips, musicals, field day, outdoor events, concessions, dinners, drinks, or even tackling the lost and found closet — you show up for our students and staff again and again.

Your willingness to step in, problem solve, serve, and support our school community is truly appreciated more than words can say.
