SEPTEMBER STAFF MEMBERS OF THE MONTH!

Help us celebrate Officer Boyd and Mrs. Yang as our September Staff Members of the Month! 🐍💛🖤

Officer Boyd keeps our school safe and supports our students and staff as our School Resource Officer.

Mrs. Yang inspires our students to think creatively, solve problems, and explore the world of STEM as our Project Lead The Way teacher!

We are so thankful for the dedication, hard work, and positive impact they make in our school community. Join us in congratulating these two amazing members of our JLC family!

A special THANK YOU to Nothing Bundt Cakes for providing our winners with a sweet and delicious treat! We appreciate you helping us celebrate our amazing staff!

❤️❤️ SURPRISE! WE WORE RED FOR DYSLEXIA AWARENESS! ❤️❤️

Our JLCMS family got a little surprise today as we came together wearing red to recognize Dyslexia Awareness Day!

Dyslexia does not define a student’s intelligence, potential, or ability to succeed. Every student learns differently, and with understanding, encouragement, and the right support, our students can do amazing things!

Today, we wore red to raise awareness, celebrate the unique strengths of our learners, and remind our students that the way you learn does not limit how far you can go! ❤️

Sometimes, a little surprise can make a big statement! Let’s continue to break down misconceptions, spread understanding, and champion every learner.

Science in Action at JLCMS!

Students in Ms. Eisele’s Science class put their scientific thinking to work with a Radiation Absorption Test!

The question: Which material absorbs the most radiant energy?

Students made observations, tested materials, recorded their results, and used evidence to explore how radiant energy interacts with different materials.

We love seeing our Cobras learning by doing, asking questions, and discovering the answers for themselves!

Science isn’t just something we learn it’s something we DO!

Happy Principals Month to OUR fearless leader, Mr. Warren Collier!

Every day, you show up with a smile, a willingness to listen, a determination to work hard, and, when necessary, the ability to pivot, regroup, and keep it moving.

You lead with intention, integrity, honesty, and love, but most importantly, you lead with purpose.

At the heart of everything you do is one simple goal: every student who walks through the doors of JLCMS should leave better than they were when they came in.

And that kind of leadership doesn’t happen by accident. It takes heart. It takes consistency. It takes someone who truly believes in kids, believes in people, and believes in the mission.

Mr. Collier, thank you for leading us, challenging us, listening to us, making us laugh, and reminding us that doing the right thing; especially when no one is watching always matters.

We appreciate you more than you know!

Happy Principals Month, Mr. Collier!
From your JLCMS family
