"Educere" - to draw out

Our English word "educate" is derived from the Latin word "educere" to draw out. There is a Greek influence there also.

We want to assist you in "drawing out" of your child his or her best ability to write. We are amiss in our thinking that education is to fill our children's head with information, to write information on the "tabula rasa " of their minds.

Actually, we belive in "drawing out" their unique skills: intellectual, emotional and physical; to develop and refine their innate potentials- especailly to be great writers.

So we are teaching to write.... to draw out their writing talents!

Ohhhh!!! Teaching is my all time favorite passion. I have always seen this vocation as a divine impartation so that I can be an educational blessing to all that seek to improve their minds, themselves, to be their best educated self.
