In a recent discussion with a colleague, we realized how many opportunities are lost simply because people don't know how to turn their challenges into compelling narratives.

Often, the most difficult experiences can serve as powerful testaments to one's resilience and capability.

Over the past months, I’ve leveraged my own life challenges to connect with a global network of high achievers.

The key takeaway? Learn to tell your story effectively.

Your story is your experience, and if told well, it can be as valuable as years of professional expertise. Here’s a simple framework to help you craft your narrative:

1. Identity (Who you are): Clearly state who you are, highlighting your role, background, or defining characteristics. This establishes your persona right from the start.

2. Authority (Why you are credible): Provide evidence of your expertise or experience. Mention accomplishments, qualifications, or experiences that underscore your authority in your field.

3. Association (Who supports or collaborates with you): Highlight any affiliations, collaborations, or endorsements. This not only validates your position but also connects you to a broader network or community.

4. Purpose (What you stand for or aim to achieve): Articulate your goals, mission, or values. This helps others understand what drives you and aligns them with your vision.

By weaving these elements together, you can create a compelling and comprehensive introduction that resonates with your audience, high network individual, targeted group of persons etc.

Talent is Never Enough💯

Two decades ago, I had just gained admission into one of the most prestigious universities 🎓 in Nigeria, . And so, I will have taught that access to that university will be all that I need for excellence.

Well, this story is not about the university. 🧠. However, upon getting to the school, I saw numerous ways I could use up my talents and

I knew I was eloquent at delivering speeches 💭 and I can table my points.

🤨 To date, only a few of my friends would believe that I am a shy person. It's contrasting. How can you be shy yet speaks so well?

Anyways, I was not surprised at these skills because I had won 🏆 a state prize for debating at my elementary school. I also represented my department at a science conference.

My pain in this story was that

👉I did not always show up. I did not give my talent the required exposure.
👉 I was being conservative about what people train themselves to become better at. I did not flaunt what I had.
👉 I didn't know how to navigate my science career so that it fits into what my talents were.
👉 I didn't develop them as it should be.

Fast forward to NOW, the single thing that has given me global visibility and relevance is my eloquence particularly when I discuss subject matters.

From my exposure to this point of excellence, I can confirm again that having talent is NOT enough.

My advice: Learn how to optimize it.

This picture does not capture how I will like to portray what power real, relevant and timely information holds. But I am sure you can tell that the picture means a lot of things to several people based on perspective.

My Journey is a story that most people love to listen to.

The part where:

👉 I have tried pieces of my career for 15 years.

👉 I had to take myself through a journey of self-leadership without mentorship.

👉 I had to read at least 8 hours every day just for the love of research.

👉 I had to do 4 jobs and delivered excellently without either of them being at a disadvantage.

👉 I had to take on being an information ambassador and speak for at least 2 hours daily. I speak to young leaders 👑 that need career navigation.

All of these contributed to my global advantage and I look back to say, I am grateful for my 10,000 hours of rising through
