Our Rhetoric School students are learning guitar this year, exploring the artistry and history of folk and bluegrass music while developing a new skill they can carry with them for years to come.

We love seeing our students discover beauty through music. 🎶

Our parents had the opportunity to hear from our Director of Curriculum about the entire K–12 scope of Classical Christian Education at Anthem. Then, they stepped into the classroom to experience more of what makes a classical Christian education so special. From phonics and math lessons to learning more about the unique curriculum in each grade, our teachers gave parents a behind-the-scenes look at what their students are learning each day.

Our teachers also shared practical ways parents can reinforce learning at home and stay actively involved in their child’s education. We’re grateful for a community that values Classical Christian Education and the privilege of pursuing it together! 💚

We were honored to welcome U.S. Senator Tom Cotton to Anthem today! It was a joy to share our school and mission with him and highlight our successful phonics program, our commitment to cultivating Christ-centered leaders, and the tremendous impact the LEARNS Act has had on our families. We also appreciated the opportunity to discuss the encouragement provided by the new Federal Education Tax Credit.

During his time with us, Senator Cotton toured our campus, visited classrooms, and engaged with our students. Our 5th graders enjoyed reciting the Declaration of Independence and asking thoughtful questions about leadership, faith, and his role in our government.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our school, our classrooms, and the work happening in our community with an elected representative from our state.

As always, Anthem does not endorse political candidates or parties. We value opportunities to welcome our elected officials, engage them thoughtfully, and advocate for the educational freedom of Arkansas families.

We are grateful for a wonderful visit and proud of our students for representing Anthem so well! 🇺🇸

Happy Monday! 🎶💚

We start every morning with Matins, a time for our entire school to gather to sing hymns, recite catechisms, read Scripture, and pray together before we begin our day.

This year, we’re excited to place our very own Anthem hymnal into the hands of our students and parents! This beautiful collection brings together our Monday–Friday catechisms, hymns, artwork, and poetry, all thoughtfully organized according to the liturgical calendar.

Our hope is that this hymnal becomes more than just a book, but a treasured part of our daily rhythm, helping our students know truth, recognize beauty, and carry these words and songs with them for years to come.

While summer is in full swing, we wanted to share a few photos from one of our favorite days of the school year, Convocation.

On the final day of school, students shared recitations and presentations that reflected the knowledge, wisdom, and hard work cultivated throughout the year. Teachers then presented each student with a character quality they observed this year, along with a stone inscribed with that virtue as a tangible reminder of who they are becoming.

It was a meaningful way to celebrate not only what our students learned this year, but also how they grew in character. This Convocation was especially significant as it marked the completion of Anthem's fifth year, a milestone that gave us much to celebrate. We are grateful for all the Lord has done in the life of our school and wish our families a joyful and restful summer.

With confidence and delight, our 5th graders recited Le Corbeau et Le Renard at Convocation, a classic French fable by Jean de La Fontaine about a clever fox who flatters a crow into giving up his prized cheese. Bonne écoute! 🇫🇷🥖🐦‍⬛🧀

Our first ever Spring Floreal gave 8th and 9th graders the chance to practice something beautiful: joy, courtesy, confidence, and honoring one another well. As students grow and mature, we want to help shape the way they notice, respect, and interact with one another, with intentionality, kindness, and grace.

From contra dances and dance cards to shared meals and plenty of smiles, the night was full of the kind of memories that feel both timeless and delightfully fun. 💐🌷💃🪻✨
