Anthem Classical Academy
A Character Forming Education
Cultivating Christ-centered leaders through wisdom and virtue
06/10/2026
While summer is in full swing, we wanted to share a few photos from one of our favorite days of the school year, Convocation.
On the final day of school, students shared recitations and presentations that reflected the knowledge, wisdom, and hard work cultivated throughout the year. Teachers then presented each student with a character quality they observed this year, along with a stone inscribed with that virtue as a tangible reminder of who they are becoming.
It was a meaningful way to celebrate not only what our students learned this year, but also how they grew in character. This Convocation was especially significant as it marked the completion of Anthem's fifth year, a milestone that gave us much to celebrate. We are grateful for all the Lord has done in the life of our school and wish our families a joyful and restful summer.

With confidence and delight, our 5th graders recited Le Corbeau et Le Renard at Convocation, a classic French fable by Jean de La Fontaine about a clever fox who flatters a crow into giving up his prized cheese. Bonne écoute! 🇫🇷🥖🐦⬛🧀
That’s a wrap on the 2026 Royal Rumble!!!!!!! Thanks to the Gamemaker, Madaam Scorekeeper, and Reggie the Royal for making this an unforgettable field day!! Which team(s) were you cheering for?

Our first ever Spring Floreal gave 8th and 9th graders the chance to practice something beautiful: joy, courtesy, confidence, and honoring one another well. As students grow and mature, we want to help shape the way they notice, respect, and interact with one another, with intentionality, kindness, and grace.
From contra dances and dance cards to shared meals and plenty of smiles, the night was full of the kind of memories that feel both timeless and delightfully fun. 💐🌷💃🪻✨
Walking the Freedom Trail, standing at Lexington and Concord, visiting Plymouth, and even cheering at Fenway Park—this Boston trip has brought history to life. What was once read on a page is now seen, felt, and remembered.
But beyond the landmarks, something deeper is happening. “We got to learn, bond, and have fun together,” one student shared. Through these moments, students are growing not just in knowledge, but in friendship and fellowship.
A true picture of scholé—joyful, restful learning that shapes both mind and spirit. 💙🇺🇸❤️
Our 4th graders brought the American Revolution to life at their curriculum party! 🇺🇸✨ Each student arrived as a notable figure from the era and delivered a speech ending with, “Remember me….,” inviting us to step into history through their words.
From a spirited tea party to colonial folk dancing, from signing and reciting the Declaration of Independence to singing Yankee Doodle, the day was full of joy, creativity, and remembrance.
History at Anthem is where stories of the past shape students in the present. ❤️🇺🇸💙
Our kindergarteners are loving partnered reading…sounding out words, sharing stories, and encouraging one another along the way. It’s a joyful glimpse of growing confidence, sweet friendships, and a true delight in learning. 📚
