Pick a goal you want to achieve and ask yourself: “Which mindset do I need to achieve this goal?” and “Which mindset do people have that were successful at this goal?”.
For example, healthy & fit people might share the mindset “I love taking care of my body, nourishing it with whole foods and exercising every day.”. If it’s your goal to be healthy & fit, act as if you already HAVE the mindset of a healthy & fit person. This way, you are basically tricking your brain to adopt a new mindset and reinforcing it with action.

Here Are Three Strategies You Can Use To Create A Work-Life Balance
✔ Know When To Say Yes or No
With all the responsibilities women entrepreneurs with children face, it’s easy to become overwhelmed. Accepting help isn’t a sign of weakness or failure; it’s vital to achieving the work-life balance so many people seek. Don’t forget those closest to you. Spouses, friends, family members, and business partners can be invaluable resources for female entrepreneurs. They can provide support in a very tangible way, or they can offer advice about what you can delegate or outsource to free up some more of your own time. You don’t have to do everything yourself.
✔ Stop Comparing
You might see a mother who seems to be doing it all with her children while running her own business. Don’t compare your strengths and weaknesses to others. It’s self-destructive, and it’s often inaccurate. No one truly knows what’s happening behind the scenes in anyone else’s life. Instead, focus on your own growth and goals. Not only will you achieve more, but you will be impervious to the damaging effects of social comparison.
✔ Lead By Example
When you are responsible for your business, working to grow and improve it might come naturally. Long hours and missed weekend activities may seem like a necessary sacrifice. But to ensure a healthy work-life balance, you need to set a schedule with reasonable hours – and you need to stick to it. Commit to being done once your working hours are over. This will help you have a clear delineation between the time you dedicate to working and the time you devote to your family and friends.

Here Are Three Strategies You Can Use To Create A Work-Life Balance
✔ Take Care of Yourself
You cannot put 100% into your business or family without putting 120% into yourself. Being an entrepreneur is demanding, stressful, and sometimes isolating work. If you are exhausted, skipping sleep or meals to work means you won’t be in the best condition to run your business effectively. To avoid this kind of burnout, prioritize your days, your tasks, and your health.
✔ Set Boundaries and Expectations
As an entrepreneur, it can be tempting to devote all your time to your venture. If you’re not careful you could end up lost in your business at the expense of yourself and your children. Take some time to sit down and think about how you want your life to look and what that might require.
✔ Be Intentional With Your Time
One of the best ways to prevent work from spilling over into your time is to avoid distractions that compromise your ability to focus or produce good work. Prioritize work time as work time and family time as family time. These strategies for time management can significantly boost your productivity, providing you with dedicated time for your most important projects and safeguarding your time with family and friends.

The conversations you have with yourself are a direct reflection of your mindset. If you are telling yourself “I am not good enough to achieve my dreams”, your thoughts will create your reality and your mindset will hold you back from having the life you want. To upgrade your mindset, change your negative self-talk to an empowerment speech. Sounds cliché, but telling yourself “I can do this” or “I got this”, really works.

Being a female entrepreneur certainly increases the likelihood to suffer from mental health issues as women are confronted with gender-based obstacles such as gender bias in the medical system, biological influences (e.g., menstrual cycle, postpartum depression, motherhood, menopause, etc.), gender-based violence and challenging working conditions ( e.g., gender pay gap, sexual harassment, longer working hours, aesthetic labour, etc.), as highlighted in The State of Female Entrepreneur Mental Health report by resurgo.
Furthermore, those who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences exacerbate those systems. Addressing the root issue of your mental health issue can assist in decreasing the effects of entrepreneurial stressors.

Most trauma survivors find themselves
🚩 Stuck in a vicious cycle of being the yes person.
🚩Putting their wants and needs aside for the sake of others.
🚩Left feeling resentful towards the ones they care for.
I see this happen ALL the time.
The desire not to disappoint others and the fear of abandonment is the reason they can't say no.
The worst part about having this problem is that you begin to feel drained. You don't receive as much as you give in a relationship. This causes you to become emotionally withdrawn.
The key is knowing how to only give to others what you have first given yourself.
After you have made yourself a priority, only then will you be able to prioritize others.
We teach this EXACT process to all of our clients to aid them in making the traction they long for.
