Thank you to the Spotlight Awards for an evening of celebration, inspiration, and community. The awards are just the cherry on top of so many incredible educational opportunities and moments of connection with other theatre artists!

Please join us in congratulating the hard work of so many dedicated theatre students:

The cast and crew of “Newsies” got the incredible chance to perform on the TPAC stage as one of ten outstanding musical nominees!

Jake Tallent gave a spectacular solo performance as one of eight outstanding performer finalists, AND won the award for outstanding dramatic performer!

Izzy Armijo won the award for outstanding stage management!

Morgan Brown was selected to display her set design in the lobby of TPAC as part of their Technical Design Symposium!

Jake Tallent and Brady Jennings both performed in the closing number as outstanding lead performer nominees!

Brady Jennings and Brodie Hall won awards for All Star Cast and Izzy Armijo and Morgan Brown won awards for All Star Crew!

We received an Applause Award for our historical lobby displays (provided by the history classes of Mrs. Underwood and Ms. Treola and arranged by Courtney Brown) as well as our custom newspapers provided by the Elk Valley Times!

Thank you to everyone from parents to teachers to bus drivers who made this possible for our students, and for the amazing support from our LC community! 👏

We are so excited to announce that our fall production will be the premiere production of a brand new play: “Tinker Bell’s Shadow” by Bret Carter!

It’s 1904 in New York City and the Braddock Theater will soon close its doors forever unless it performs a recently famous play called Peter Pan. Determined to help save her family’s legacy, Lilian Braddock defies her stage fright and agrees to play the part of Tinker Bell. Standing alone on the stage, things look bleak—until someone unexpected shows up: the real Tinker Bell. Because sometimes, Neverland finds YOU!

Our 2027 Spring Musical is…FINDING NEVERLAND✨🌟

Our very own Jake Tallent is a Finalist at the in Nashville, TN on the TPAC Stage! He was picked out of the other 76 nominees across TN and now he is one of the 8 finalists chosen to perform a solo on the TPAC Stage! This is a HUGE Opportunity!! If he wins at the Spotlight Awards May 24th, then he will go to the Jimmy Awards in New York City to compete against the Jimmy Award nominees across the country. We are so proud of Jake and are cheering him on all the way there and hope you will too!💛🖤

Our Annual LCT Awards will be held May 15 at 6pm. This is a formal event where we celebrate our year of performances and award some of our cast and crew! We hope to see you there!!

Come see our Advanced Theatre Classes’ original plays tomorrow night, April 28th! “Fairytale Mania: Once Upon a Roll” is at 5:30 pm and “Nobody Gnomes” is at 6 pm on the LCHS stage.
