JCHS seniors recently toured the University of Southern Mississippi, where they explored campus and residence halls and learned about admissions and scholarship opportunities. After the tour, students enjoyed lunch at Chesterfield’s.

The tour was coordinated by Dr. Courtney Mitchell, Professional School Counselor, to provide seniors with valuable exposure to postsecondary opportunities.

A special thank you to USM for welcoming our students and to our chaperones, Ms. Darlene Grayson, Inclusion Teacher, and SRO Rodrick Hart, for their assistance.

Today, Ms. Jordan Stephens & Ms. Rukiya Abston, representatives from Copiah-Lincoln Community College met with our seniors to share valuable information about admissions, scholarships, housing, financial opportunities, and the college experience.

Dr. Courtney Mitchell, JCHS Counselor, invited Co-Lin representatives to speak with students and help ensure they are informed, prepared, and aware of the many opportunities available to them after graduation.
