Hubbertville FCCLA earned third place at the Alabama National Fair in Montgomery with its exhibit, “Where Leaders Are Made.”

The exhibit highlighted how leadership develops at home, at school, and in the community. Its message connected responsibility and caring for others with learning practical skills, teamwork, and community service.

Hubbertville FCCLA Chapter Co-Presidents Aliya Nasser and Mylie Kate Hubbert assembled the exhibit.

FCCLA stands for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. Through Family and Consumer Sciences education and chapter activities, students develop leadership skills, serve others, and prepare for their future.

Today was all about celebrating our students and their hard work! We had a great time recognizing our 3rd–6th grade students who demonstrated academic achievement by scoring a Level 3 or 4 or showed academic growth on last year's ACAP assessments! We believe it's important to celebrate not only achievement but also the hard work, progress, and growth our students make along the way!

👏 A BIG shout-out to Mrs. Porter (Reading Coach), Mrs. Afshar (Math Coach), and Mrs. Stovall for planning and making today's celebration such a success!

We also want to extend a special THANK YOU to Bank First, Alabama ONE, Kevin Garner, Hubbertville FCCLA and the Hubbertville PTO for helping make this event possible! We are so thankful for our community's continued support of our students! It always feels great to celebrate our students and their accomplishments!

Also, we would like to thank Hubbertville PTO for providing ice cream to our seniors! This was their choice for winning field day!
