The backpacks are packed, the school buses are rolling, and a brand-new school year is officially underway! 🎉

From all of us at Fayette County 4-H, we want to wish our students, teachers, administrators, and families an AMAZING school year!

We’re excited for another year of learning, leading, growing, and making memories together. 🌱✨

🧵🪡 Fayette County 4-H Sewing Club Registration is Now Open! 🪡🧵

Calling all creative youth ages 9-18! Join the Fayette County 4-H Sewing Club and learn valuable sewing skills while creating fun projects, making friends, and building confidence.

📍 Limited spots available! 📞 Call the Extension Office at 205-932-8941 to reserve your spot today.

The Sewing Club will meet approximately 5-6 times throughout the year, and members are expected to attend each scheduled meeting. Skills and projects build from one meeting to the next, so consistent participation is important.

Don't miss your chance to be part of this exciting club year. Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis!

🍀 Here’s to a New School Year! 🍀

Today marked the official kickoff to a brand-new school year as we joined Fayette County Schools for Inservice Day, and we couldn’t be more excited about all that’s ahead!

Fayette County 4-H is incredibly grateful for our continued partnership with the Fayette County Board of Education. Thank you for believing in the value of hands-on learning and for allowing us the opportunity to work alongside your schools to provide meaningful educational experiences that help students grow into confident leaders and engaged citizens. Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of Fayette County youth.

One of our favorite traditions each year is recognizing educators who go above and beyond in supporting 4-H programs. Congratulations to our 2026 Fayette County 4-H Teachers of the Year!

🍀 The 2026-2027 Fayette County 4-H Club Year Kicks Off Today! 🍀

We are so excited and expectant for the amazing year ahead! Get ready for new opportunities, adventures, leadership experiences, and chances to discover the spark that will make you !

4-H is open to youth ages 9-18, and we invite all eligible Fayette County youth to become part of the largest youth development organization in Alabama. Through 4-H, members can explore agriculture, STEM, healthy living, citizenship, public speaking, camps, contests, community service, and so much more.

📚 Students in grades 5-8 attending Fayette County Schools or Fayette Christian Academy (FCA) will be enrolled in their 4-H in-school club during September. 4th graders-this is first year! Look for enrollment forms in your child's folder at the start of school :)

✨ Meet the newest member of the Fayette County 4-H family… GOLDIE! 🪿💚

Goldie recently waddled into the Fayette County 4-H Office as a special gift, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce her! She’ll be serving as our official Desk Goose and making appearances around Fayette County during the upcoming school year.

Don’t be surprised if you spot Goldie visiting classrooms, cheering on our clubs, attending events, or popping up in some of our Facebook photos! 📸 She loves adventures and can’t wait to meet all of our amazing 4-H’ers.

Be sure to say “Hi, Goldie!” whenever you see her—and keep an eye on our page to follow all of her Fayette County 4-H adventures this year! 💚🍀
