💙Happy Father’s Day! Dads❤️👔🥰

A father’s influence is often felt in the ordinary moments. The rides to practice. The late-night conversations. The lessons taught by example. The sacrifices no one else sees. A good father may never feel like he's doing enough, yet his presence, guidance, and love leave a lasting impact that reaches far beyond what he can imagine.

Fatherhood isn't about perfection. It's about showing up. Loving well. Leading with humility. And pointing the next generation toward what truly matters. Today, we're grateful for the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who have helped shape our lives with their strength, wisdom, and faith.

Across Louisiana and Mississippi, families are caring for their children and building strong futures.

Community health providers, advocates and policymakers are working alongside them — strengthening access to care before and after birth. Programs like SNAP, WIC and Medicaid help families put food on the table, attend prenatal visits, stay covered after delivery and keep up with essential bills during a critical time.

Maternal and infant health outcomes in both states remain among the most challenging in the country.
Progress is underway, but the stakes are high.
