Had a fun find in Fayette County today. When I first glanced and saw it sunning on a log I was sure I’d come across a timber rattlesnake - great spot with lots of limestone crevices. But it’s actually uphill from a pretty large sand prairie. Still my first Fayette bullsnake.

My Mammalogy lab took a field trip to see the goats’ progress and look for mammals at Sweet Marsh. Some people got to see a red squirrel and we found a very cooperative raccoon! Thanks to for the great shots!
