PSA: If you can't manage your time well and think you don't have enough time in high school to put in the extra work for private lessons and/or extra practices, college softball probably isn't for you.
PSA: If you aren't disciplined enough to put in the extra work and practices while maintaining a high GPA in high school, college softball probably isn't for you.
PSA: If you aren't emotionally tough enough to handle a coach chewing you out, making an example out of you, and holding you to a higher standard in high school, college softball probably isn't for you.
PSA: If you are too proud to play the position that is best for the team, including sitting the bench nd cheering on your teammates, even though daddy says you are too good to be on the bench or play that position, college softball probably isn't for you.
PSA: If you aren't physically tough enough and willing to dive for a ball or slide violently into a base to help your team secure an out, save a run, or win a game, college softball probably isn't for you.
PSA: If you aren't mentally tough enough to be pi**ed off on the inside when you make a mistake, without showing it, and strong willed enough to make the changes necessary to prevent it from happening again, college softball probably isn't for you.
PSA: If you aren't committed enough to show up on time, every day, whether you feel bad or good, and give 100% effort, and 100% positive attitude, college softball probably isn't for you.
And lastly, this post isn't about YOUR future in college softball. It is about YOUR CHARACTER. Players who do this, will have a greater chance of success in life, in relationships, in careers, and in leading a family. These players will also successful on the field regardless of the win/loss record. A team full of these players will achieve goals greater than imagined!!
