On Friday, members of the Livestock Selection & Management class hosted the 2nd Annual Petting Zoo. Together, this class found and sourced each animal, created educational posters, handled all the scheduling and most importantly exposed our elementary and high school students to many different animals while giving them brief lessons on each. Fun was had by all! I think Mr. Molter even learned a thing or two! 💙💛

A big THANK YOU to all who volunteered to bring their animals for this event!

Our final day at state convention started off with a tour of the Ag Engineering building at THE Ohio State University. Students got to play with some pretty cool equipment!

After our tour, we headed to the convention center where we attended session 5 and cheered on 4 of our members who obtained their state degree, the highest honor the Ohio FFA Association can bestow.

Congratulations Maycee, Wyatt, Zander and Keagan, we are so proud of all your hard work!

Day 1 of State FFA Convention was a success! These 19 members received a tour at Mennel Milling, where they were able to see raw materials be mixed and packaged into various baking mixes. We then had some fun at Pins Mechanical for our chapter activity.

In the afternoon, we headed to the convention center to attend the 3rd general session. To round out the day we had dinner at Bucca Di Beppos.

We will have 4 members walk across the stage to receive their State FFA Degree, during today’s session starting at 2. If you can’t make it and want to support from a far click this link to livestream it!

Last Saturday, Fayette FFA held it's 20th Annual Banquet. Members were recognized for their successes and participation throughout the year. Thank you to our members, parents, alumni, and the community for your continued support!

Our poultry evaluation team completed at the District 1 Invitational last Tuesday. They placed 11th overall and 6th in District 1. Team members included: Keagan Patterson, Grady Beers, Garrett Stambaugh, Joseph Ohlemacher, Tucker Johnston, and Braden Morgan.

Last Tuesday, some of our members competed in the District 1 General Livestock Judging Contest. Members had to evaluate classes of sheep, pigs, goats, and cattle and complete a general knowledge test.

The high school team placed 6th overall and 4th in the district. They will be bringing home a District 1 plaque- awesome work guys!

The Junior High Team also had their moment to shine, placing 2nd overall and 1st in the district. Congrats to both teams and wish them luck as they prepare for the State Contest!
