Up first is the UIU Master of Business Administration program. Last year, students from the corporate entrepreneurship and sustainability course at Fayette Campus took an extensive look at business strategies. The hands-on research not only provided the Upper Iowa University MBA students an opportunity to investigate topics of personal interest that expanded their knowledge of industry operations, but also connect with regional business owners and gain additional employability skills.

Students divided into three small groups and developed a study to learn more about management practices. Following the study, the students presented their research findings at a public presentation. Students included: Sasha Zainal, Bethany stock, Jamie Gehling, Ghanna Okolot, Sabreena Zainal, Andre Cheong, Jose Acosta, Vu Nguyen, Jayde Blue, Chung Ho Chee, Jie Jun Teng, Jack Cousin, and Santiago Mendoza.

A complete story regarding this MBA project will be featured in the upcoming summer edition of The Bridge Magazine.

"It’s during times like these, when so much seems beyond our control, that we must look within ourselves and our institution to identify how we can make positive change. For me personally, it means taking time to listen to the many voices crying out to be heard while examining my own privilege and bias," said UIU President, Bill Duffy.

Upper Iowa University is committed to lead with its core values of integrity, excellence, accessibility, respect and stewardship. For the complete statement, visit https://uiu.edu/listen.html
