Our Wild West Day Wheels and Wings show went amazing! Here are some pictures from our day, including some of our airplanne award winners. We are SO happy with the turn out and have so many thanks to give:
-Kelly and Dawn Melius for planning and running the car show. We are happy to be a part of it!
-Tomelyn Taylor for planning the fly in, and coordinating all of the auctions and fundraisers!
-Anyone who lent us tables, golf carts, or other supplies!
-Our club members and their families for decorating the float, and being on it!
-Everyone who helped work a table, and drive carts at our event
-Everyone who came to our event!
-Everyone that contributed to our auctions and sales
-All of our amazing food, beverage, and shopping vendors for spending your days with us
-Bad Pig Entertainment for being our DJ/announcer
-Shane Machtemes for the picnic tables
-Those of you who snapped these cool pictures
-Those of you who baked for the FCCLA bake sale
-Everyone who helped set up and clean up!
-Special thank you to The Groton Freedom Flyers, Darrel Hillstad, Kelly Petterson, Craig Mutsch, Mike Sorensen, Joe Epp, and Austin Brown for volunteering your planes, fuel, and time to give airplane rides. We are so grateful for each of you. The rides given in our Faulk County Flying Club plane were sponsored by the Faulkton Inn, so thank you to them as well for making that possible.

To all of you, THANK YOU! We could not have done this without the support of our amazing community, it takes a village. If we forgot to thank you, just know that we are extremely grateful for all the help and support. We hope you enjoyed, and can’t wait to do it again next year😊

Wheels and Wings is THIS Saturday! Come join us for a display of cars and airplanes, raffles and silent auctions, food and drink vendors, entertainment, and free plane rides! We may be biased, but we sure think Faulkton looks way cooler from above 😉 Come on, look at that view!

Hope to see you out at Wheels and Wings at the airport this Saturday, July 5th from 12-3pm! If you have a car or an airplane to register, registration begins at 11am.

Our club member, Joe, is a fantastic pilot. Thanks to the Faulkton Inn, Joe will be offering rides in our club plane during Wheels and Wings! We hope to see you there, and of course, call the Faulkton Inn if you’re needing a place to stay for WWD weekend!

Faulk County Flying Club would like to invite you to our Wild West Days event, Wheels and Wings! For those of you that are interested in cars or airplanes, this event is for you. If you have an airplane that you fly, we invite you to fly in! Car owners, if you’d like to enter your car in the show, please bring it! If you’ve ever thought about flying, our flying club would love to visit with you and tell you what we have to offer.
