☕️ NOT THE COFFEEEEE. 😭😂

I was literally filming content when I knocked over my coffee.

And for half a second my brain went:

Welp. There goes that take.

Then I realized…

Nope. THIS is the content.

Because somewhere along the way, content creation became this weird performance where everything has to be perfectly staged, perfectly lit, perfectly scripted and perfectly aesthetic.

Meanwhile, real life is over here spilling the damn coffee. ☕️💀

So I kept filming.

Because THIS is me.

Messy moments. Big ideas. Random laughter. Business happening in between caregiving and life happening in between business.

And occasionally sacrificing perfectly good coffee to the content gods.

You don’t always need another perfectly planned post.

Sometimes you just need to let people meet the human behind the brand.

That’s what I mean when I say:

You don’t need to find your niche.
You need to BECOME the niche.

Now please observe a moment of silence for the fallen coffee.

Do you ever get so excited about something you’re creating that your brain is like…

Sleep?
Run through the entire event for the 47th time?

Because apparently that’s where I am tonight.

I’ve been thinking about this masterclass, the conversations we’re going to have, and how badly I want people to finally see that selling doesn’t have to feel like chasing, convincing, performing, or turning every human you meet into a prospect.

There’s a better way.

And I cannot WAIT to teach it.

But apparently I should actually sleep before I teach it.

So sweet dreams, internet friends. 💋

Whatever happened to humanity connecting with humanity? 👀

Seriously.

Over 100 people recently added me on Facebook.

So I did something apparently WILD in 2026…

I welcomed them. 😂

Not into my funnel.
Not into my DMs so I could pitch them.
Not as “leads.”
Not as potential dollar signs.

As PEOPLE.

I shared who I am, what I do, pieces of my actual life, and invited them to introduce themselves.

And not ONE person responded.

🦗🦗🦗

Yet everywhere I look, people are screaming:

“I want authentic connection!”
“I want community!”
“I hate transactional marketing!”
“I want real relationships!”

Okay… then where the hell is everybody? 😂

Because somewhere along the way we turned SOCIAL media into MARKETING media.

We stopped seeing the person and started seeing the prospect.

Followers.
Leads.
Engagement.
Conversions.
Potential clients.

And listen—I own a business. I love making money. I believe incredible businesses are built through relationships.

But the relationship cannot only matter because somebody might eventually buy from you.

Maybe we become friends.

Maybe we’re soul sisters.

Maybe we collaborate.

Maybe we send referrals back and forth.

Maybe you never spend ONE DOLLAR with me but become somebody whose name makes me smile when I see it pop up.

That still fu***ng matters.

Because before we’re brands, businesses, coaches, creators, entrepreneurs, customers or clients…

WE’RE HUMAN.

And I’d really like to see social media become a little more social again.

So I’m putting my money where my mouth is. 👇

Caregiver Chronicles: A Moment in the Trenches Episode 1

Grandpa decided last night was apparently the PERFECT time for an all-night house tour.

Music? Yep.
TV? Absolutely.
Wandering around? Naturally.
Actually SLEEPING? Sir, why would we do that? 😭

And because caregivers apparently receive complimentary admission to festivities we never RSVP’d to… I got approximately zero sleep too.

Fast-forward to this morning:

Grandpa: READY FOR THE DAY!
Me: How the actual hell are you this energetic?!

Sir, YOU pulled the all-nighter.

Why do I look and feel like death warmed over, got hit by a bus, backed over for good measure, and then served with a side of exhaustion?!

Meanwhile, there is an entire day of lifing and business-ing waiting for me because caregiving doesn’t exactly come with a “Sorry, Grandpa partied all night” PTO policy.

So today’s survival plan is pretty sophisticated:

☕️ Coffee.
🙏 Jesus.
😂 Inappropriate amounts of humor.
💗 Grace for myself when my brain inevitably forgets how to brain.

had “Girls” by Rachel Platten on repeat today and it low-key wrecked me in the best way. like… why does it feel like an anthem for the girl who’s always clapping for everyone else while quietly wondering, “okay but who’s holding me?”

I’m sitting here with my coffee, cozy sweater, and this song is playing, and I’m thinking about how many of us are out here building brands, holding families together, surviving our own plot twists… and still trying to do it solo like it’s some kind of badge of honor. I’m tired of pretending I don’t want a circle. I want late-night front porch vibes. I want “tell me the truth, not just the highlight reel.” I want strategy + prayer + ugly-cry-laughing. I want women who can hold my “I’m scared” and my “I’m made for this” at the same damn time.
