A very special quilt made in memory of a father who loved his fun ties, suspenders, swim trunks, and a cowboy hat. Everything on this quilt top belonged to him. The white is made from dress shirts. The dark "shadow box" is his suit coat and pants. Jeans finish out the border and have belt loops to attach the beloved suspenders onto. I needed to figure a way to have them removable so they don't rust or rub on the quilt during washing. I loved making this unique quilt for a family our family considers our own.
